IGSHPA

Overview

IGSHPA is a WordPress-based platform for online courses focused on ground source heat pump standards and procedures. It primarily uses WordPress and LearnDash, with WooCommerce enabled for course purchases and user management. The website has blog posts, courses and exams as well. Users can enroll in courses, complete exams, and receive certificates.

At the core of this LMS is an intuitively designed, visually appealing "main hub" that serves as the gateway to various modules and sub-pages. This hub is optimized for mobile, providing students with a seamless experience that’s easy to navigate on any device.

What We Have Done

This customized LMS uses the popular e-learning software called Learndash. The most powerful learning management system for WordPress.

Features:

• Access is limited for free users, while paid clients enjoy full access to all of the training materials.
• We have developed this project for both the user and admin side from scratch in WordPress & using Learndash LMS.
• We created the following roles - Administrator and Subscriber. We developed the front end with these features - Login & Registration,
• User friendly navigation
• Users can rate and review content and submit their own comments.
• Generate the certificate with installer id and expiration date.

Code Snippets

• Generate a random number for users who receive a certificate for completing the course.
• To generate an expired date (like 1 year expiration) for a certificate based on the course completion date in the certificate.
